We're quite proud of the monikers we've earned through the writing of two books about Michigan wine. You see, we're often called the wine chicks… wine goddesses (what's not to love about this one?)… Michigan ambassadors… Michigan agricultural geeks. We love our state and enthusiastically tout its great assets through presentations, blogs and other promotions.
We're native Michiganders who share a passion for living and playing along the Great Lakes and exploring wine and food destinations. Researching Michigan’s earliest wine pioneers for the State of Michigan ignited a passion for Michigan’s rich agricultural history and has turned us into avid historians. We continue to be most intrigued with today’s hardworking winemakers and other agriculturalists who inspire us to share their stories. Stay tuned here for our upcoming Delicious Michigan book.
Additionally, we do other gigs, like presentations, blog writing, magazine articles and TV and radio broadcasts:
Check out the gig we did on Fox 2 News Detroit's "Made in Michigan" morning show. (Keep in mind; we're not professional TV personalities!) Check out the video: Watch Sharon and Lorri tout April Wine Month

In regard to presentations, we've shared our stories and photographs of wine country at:

* Michigan Grape and Wine Industry Council's Annual Meeting
* Culinary Historians of Ann Arbor
* Rotary Wine Club in Traverse City
* Michigan State University in Professor Ron Perry's wine appreciation class / Dr. Perry shares:
"Once again, thank you so much for coming and sharing your experiences and enthusiasm for our wine industry. You two are, without a doubt, the greatest ambassadors of Michigan wines."
